We have 6 Trinity systems. All of which run very well (knock on wood.) We also have several Avid Express DV3 systems with a crappy CG. Since Titlewave is such a great program, It would be nice if there was a plugin for it on the Avid. Oh well, wishful thinking! 😀

    Steve,
Won’t the Avid import a .tga. I have my Trinity’s networked to my Velocity and T2. I often create cg in Titlewave, save a .tga and then send it over the network to the 2 systems for import on the timeline. Works like a charm and is relatively fast.

Also, do a search on the web for Alpha CG. It is the same program as titlewave. They have plugins or standalone apps.

Or just do it the old-fashioned way: put the Trinity upstream of the Avid, and do the CG live, output to the Avid to digitize. Works perfectly and is very fast.

Just noticed you have DV Avids. Guess you would need the DV card or have to dump to DV tape first.
